Positions are given below;


RELIABILITY ENGINEER (MECHANICAL/
INSTRUMENT/ ELECTRICAL):

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

•Provide technical engineering support to the Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, Production and Project personnel regarding design, selection, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and long term reliability of equipment;
•Provide technical input in ensuring reliability of equipment, within area of responsibility (electrical and instrument equipment),is maintained including input into RAM, Criticality and FMEA studies, within a Team environment;
•Review Engineering packages, drawings, mechanical design calculations, material specifications and purchase requisitions;
•Interrogation of existing client maintenance strategies and procedures, written schemes of examination and standard texts, and extraction of relevant data for incorporation into new Master maintenance strategies;
•Interrogation of client asset data bases, manipulation and interpretation of spreadsheet data for FMEA;
•Advise on operation and maintenance strategy in support of the requirements established by the site and relevant Integrity and Reliability Standards;
•Participate in RCA as required;
•Use Reliability findings and investigations to advise and confer with Consultants, Contractors and Maintenance team on alternative Design/Repair Solutions;
•Fully familiar with FMEA,RCA,RCM,RBI and SIS practices;
•Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Operability Analysis (HAZOP)
•Maintains knowledge of applicable regulations, international/national codes, standards of practice and legislation, industry trends, technical developments in the oil and gas equipments field;
•Monitor amendments to legislation and industry guidelines, and ensure continued compliance for operational units;
•Forward thinking attitude, awareness of new market technologies and their applications to brown field maintenance situations;
•Support the usage and reporting of Integrity and Reliability KPI’s;
•Assist is establishing and updating maintenance strategies including recognition of ageing and obsolete equipment;
•Ensure that the condition and operation of equipment is in line with overall procedures, regulations, unit specific Procedures and performance standards;
•Attend client reliability workshops and provide input as required.
Required Skills / Experience:

•Working knowledge of the following Codes/Standards : ASME,API 510,SIL;
•Interpretation of Process Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s);
•Experience in Facilities engineering design, operation and maintenance of Oil & Gas electrical and/or instrument equipment;
•Knowledge of FMEA,RCA,HAZOP;
•Knowledge of Process Safety Management and Operational Excellence;
•Experience in Risk and Condition Based methodologies’ associated with equipment life cycle management;
•Demonstrate support of management objectives and ability to lead initiatives through change management;
•Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment;
•Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills;
•Excellent computer literacy in MS packages and familiarity with CMMS systems i.e. ERP,JD Oracle,
•Appropriate degree or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Instrument Engineering + Reliability engineering as an advantage.
•Minimum 7 years related experience, 10 years preferred & CMRP qualification an advantage.

CONDITION MONITORING TECHNICIAN:
The candidate is responsible for Condition Monitoring of all large and small machinery including Gas turbines. The candidate should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, training / certification from reputed institutions such as Vibration Institute and Bently Nevada and 6 years experience in a similar position in major process or equivalent industries. The candidate should be an experienced user of CSI portable and Bently Nevada online Systems, including RBMware and System1. Preference will be given to the holders of Category II Certificate in vibration analysis from Vibration Institute. Experience of machinery maintenance will be an added advantage.

ELECTRICAL STAFF ENGINEER:
The position is responsible for analyzing and resolving problems of technical nature in the field. Plan, prioritize, execute and monitor engineering activities in the field. Participate in studies, investigation and improvement projects. The candidate must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 years experience in similar position in chemical or oil and gas industry with direct exposure to field maintenance and annual shutdown activities. The candidate should have sufficient knowledge of the industrial safety, environment and quality aspects. Should also be capable of handling the daily office work independently with thorough knowledge in the use of PC and common computer software programs. Ability to prepare electrical tender documents for electrical maintenance, material purchases, installation and commissioning experience.

ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR- WORKSHOP:
The position is responsible for general maintenance in Electrical Workshop and new Electrical Installation in Plants. The Candidate shall have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering as qualification with 8 years experience in Electrical Workshop within chemical plants. The candidate shall be responsible and experienced in following :

1.Supervising group of technicians assigned to various area of work within workshop as well as plants.
2.Accountable for the quality assurance of works carried out by his group.
3.Able to prioritize all scheduled activities in coordination with end-users.
4.Have technical experience for resolving of problems referred by his group as well as his superior.
5.Coordinate with superior to insure spares and materials are available.

Apart from the above, he should also have experience related to:

•Supervisor should have a considerable knowledge of the fundamentals of electricity, the methods and techniques utilized in the repair of electrical motors, starters, and similar equipment; the tools, machines and equipment utilized in electrical repair work.
•Able to analyze and determine malfunctions of electrical equipment and carry out proper corrective measures.
•Requires considerable skill in the use of tools and equipment necessary to the repair of motors, starters and similar types of electrical equipment.
•Supervise overhauling & Testing of HV motors upto 11KV including removal/insertion of rotors with the help of crane.
•Supervise overhauling, dismantling, assembling and Testing of LV motors of different types including Geared motors, Brake motors, Drum motors, Motor Operated Valves
•Inspecting for any bend in shaft, inspection of bearing housing, grease route, making any defects alright, ensuring it is ready for further operation.
•Should be able to carry out motor testing, e.g. insulation resistance test, Polarization index test.
•Operates and supervises the operation and care of a variety of shop tools and equipment used in the repair and overhauling of motors and equipment.
•Ability of reading and understanding electrical drawing . e.g. control, schematic, ladder diagram & fire alarm drawings.
•He should have a good knowledge of Fire Alarm System troubleshooting & installation.
•He should have a good knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
•Prepares and maintains time and cost records of the various jobs.

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN WORKSHOP:
The position functions within Electrical Workshop group and is responsible for the following task:
•Overhauling and Testing of HV motors upto 11KV including removal/insertion of rotors with the help of crane.
•Overhauling, dismantling, assembling and Testing of LV motors of different types including Geared motors, Brake motors, Drum motors, Motor Operated Valves etc.
•Renewal of worn out ball bearings, cleaning of winding/ internal with CTC, inspecting the winding with Megger, inspecting of rotor, inspecting for any bend in shaft, inspection of bearing housing, grease route, making any defects alright, ensuring it is ready for further operation.
•Technician should be able to carry out motor testing, e.g. insulation resistance test, Polarization index test.
•Should be able to carry out motor testing, e.g. insulation resistance test, Polarization index test.
•Should be able to handle Motors job independently and operations of cranes.

The position holder should have a minimum Technical High School and possess at least 5 years experience at Fertilizer, Petrochemical or Chemical plant. Hands on experiences on HV & MV motor overhauling and testing and rewinding of LV motor experiences in preferable.


ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN FIELD:
(AMMONIA/UREA/MATERIAL HANDLING)
The position functions within different Electrical Field Groups and is responsible for the Maintenance of Electrical equipment, switchgears, and motors and troubleshooting. The position holder should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and possess at least 5 years experience at chemical plant in installation and maintenance of Low voltage 415V and medium voltage 3.3KV switchgears; 415V, 3.3KV and 11KV motors; battery, battery charger and UPS; low and medium voltage power cable, control cable, control system components, contractors, relays, timers, overloads, lighting systems, etc. Knowledge of area classification and hazardous area equipment is essential and knowledge in frequency converters, PLC’s, motor winding and DC motors and the maintenance of electrical equipment, PLC, UPS and Frequency Converters is an advantage.

INSTRUMENT STAFF ENGINEER:
Responsible to carry out various Engineering activities in the field of Instrumentation including planning, prioritising, execution and monitoring. He will also be responsible for reporting on the work progress, problem analysis & trouble shooting, predictive maintenance and problem anticipation. He should also participate in studies, investigation and improvement projects, follow up of technological trends, procurement, contract coordination and bid evaluation, proper planning for spares and consumables and technical documentation. Also be responsible for the successful implementation and administration of QAFCO’s Management Systems. The successful candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in the Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Engineering field within the Oil/Gas & Petrochemical Industry.

INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN FIELD
(AMMONIA/UREA/MELAMINE/ UTILITIES)
The position is responsible to carry out skilled troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of field instruments and systems, mainly related to the Ammonia/Urea plants. The technician shall have good skills in : Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS and PLC systems preferably Triconex & FSC, Troubleshooting and tuning of control loops, servicing and calibration of various field instruments for pressure, temperature, level and flow measurements and control valves with accessories. Good PC knowledge. The candidate should have a Diploma in Instrument Engineering or equivalent with 5 years experience from process industry, preferably from an Ammonia/Urea fertilizer complex.

INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN FIELD -
COMPRESSOR HOUSE :
The position is responsible to carry out skilled troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of field instruments and systems, mainly related to steam turbines, gas turbines and compressors. The Technician shall have skills in (1) Bently Nevada machine protection systems, (2) Honeywell TDC-3000 DCS, (3) PLC systems (preferably Triconex), (4) Compressor controls, (5) Servicing and calibration of various field Instruments for pressure, temperature, level & flow measurements and control valves, (6) Knowledge of ISO systems and (7) good PC knowledge. He must be fluent in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of GE frame 6 gas turbines, Rolls Royce Avon gas generators and Speedtronic Mark V control system will be an added advantage.
The candidate should have a Diploma in Instrument Engineering or equivalent with 5 years experience from process industry, preferably from an Ammonia/Urea fertiliser complex.

INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN-ELECTRONIC
WORKSHOP :
The ideal candidate should be proficient to read and understand Electronic Circuit diagrams, dismantle electronic instruments, carryout component level repairs and calibration, diagnosing faults and repair of various industrial types and other analytical and laboratory instruments, communication systems (Ringmaster and pubic address), color monitors, test instruments like DVMs Oscilloscope etc., use of various test instruments, its maintenance, repairs and calibration to meet ISO requirement. Should understand and work within the framework of Qafco Maintenance, Safety and Environmental Policy and regulations. The ideal candidate should at least have 3 years actively involved in component level repairs of electronic cards, communication systems, CCTV, other analytical and Laboratory instruments and various test instruments in addition to a good knowledge of computer applications and good command in written and spoken English. Minimum Diploma in Instrumentation and or Electronics from a well reputed institution with 5 years experience from process industry.

MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS FIELD
(AMMONIA/UREA/MELAMINE/UTILITIES):
The position is responsible for the independent overhaul and maintenance of rotating equipment, stationery equipment, sea water pumps, heat exchangers, piping, valves, vessels, heat exchangers, boilers and allied items. The position holder should be a diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering and have minimum 5 years experiences in a similar position from a large chemical plant, preferably Ammonia/ Urea Fertiliser Plant. Knowledge about chemical plant’s safety aspects is required and computer skills is an advantage.

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN FIELD – MATERIAL
HANDLING :
The candidate will be responsible for the mechanical repair and preventive maintenance of product/material handling equipment such as conveyors, gearbox, hydraulic couplings, screens and ship loaders. The candidate should have minimum 5 years experience in the maintenance of product/material handling equipment in Fertilizer or chemical plants. The candidate should have a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge about chemical plant’s safety aspects is required and computer skills is an advantage.

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN – WORKSHOP :
The candidate is responsible for the repair and overhaul of mechanical equipment, such as single stage & multistage pumps, gear boxes, screw compressors, control valves, relief valves, isolation valves, etc. The candidate should hold a Technical High School Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 years experience in a similar position in workshops of major process or equivalent industries. The candidate should be capable of reading engineering drawings, technical manuals and instructions and should be fluent in English language and computer literate. Knowledge about chemical plant’s safety aspects is required.

AUTO TECHNICIAN :
The candidate will be responsible to carry out day to day maintenance and overhaul of engine/transmission and hydraulics of wheel loaders, forklifts, mobile cranes, vehicles, air compressors etc. He must carry out High Pressure water jet cleaning of heat exchangers and should be computer literate. The candidate should have a High School Certificate and a minimum of two years training in Auto trade from a recognised Training Institute with a minimum of 6-8 years experience as a Technician in a large auto workshop handling IC engines and electrical systems of automobiles. The candidate should also be capable of reading Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Technical Manuals and Instructions preferably electrical diagrams.

ROTATING MACHINERY ENGINEER :
This position is responsible for assisting Field Engineers / Head of Section in carrying out planning, prioritizing, executing and monitoring of maintenance and project activities in QAFCO's Plant. Experience in performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, repair, overhaul and trouble shooting of rotating equipment (steam turbine, gas turbine, centrifugal/ reciprocating compressors and pumps) and its auxiliaries is compulsory.

The successful candidate shall have to participate in studies, investigations, and improvement projects related to QAFCO’s plants, systems and equipment. Experience in development of specifications and conducting technical evaluation of bids for the procurement of equipment, spares, and services is a must. The candidate shall have the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, operate standard PC Applications and have Technical Report Writing Skills. Experience in planning software, basic financial skills and handling of projects will be an advantage.
A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with minimum seven (7) years proven successful experience in an Ammonia / Urea environment or in a Maintenance organization within the Oil / Gas / Petrochemical Industry is required.

ROTATING MACHINERY TECHNICIAN :
The position is responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair, overhaul and trouble shooting of rotating equipment (steam turbine, gas turbine, centrifugal/ reciprocating compressors and pumps) and its auxiliaries. Minimum 5 years experience in the maintenance of gas & steam turbines and compressors of international repute, plus Technical Secondary School with Vocational Training or Diploma level education with specialization or additional courses in rotating equipment. Knowledge about chemical plant’s safety aspects is required and a computer skill is an advantage.


CIVIL TECHNICIAN-SCAFFOLDING & PAINTING :

The candidate is responsible for carrying out all painting works in a continuous process industry. Must have the ability to plan, organize, supervise & inspect the works. A Painting Inspection Approval Certificate (BGAS or equivalent) would be an advantage and the person shall be computer literate. The candidate should have 5 years minimum experience as a supervisor with a Grit blasting & painting Company. The ideal candidate should be educated to Higher Secondary level (10+2) and shall be proficient in English language in both verbal and written forms.


CIVIL TECHNICIAN-MASONRY :
Job Description will be provided shortly.

CIVIL TECHNICIAN-PLUMBING :
The candidate is responsible for carrying out maintenance of all types of Plumbing networks, Maintenance of Irrigation networks etc., preferably in a continuous process industry. The person shall also be responsible for the maintenance of all Sewage networks and Sewage pumps in the plant. Planning of day to day works, manpower control and getting complete output from contracted manpower, managing the annual frame contract, preparation of estimate, knowledge of Plumbing and irrigation systems, are essential qualifications for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate shall have hands on experience in an Industrial atmosphere preferably in the maintenance department of a continuous process industry and shall be familiar with the Safety Standards, Work Permit systems etc. The person shall be computer literate and also be capable of preparing bill of quantities, estimates, work orders and providing technical support for material procurement in a computerized (ERP) environment. Candidate shall have experience in handling and installation of various types of PVC, PPR, PPE and Copper Pipes & Sanitary Fixtures.
The candidate must be able to review Plumbing & Irrigation drawings and execute the work as per drawings. The position is also responsible to maintain stocks of plumbing materials, dewatering & sewage pumps and tools. The candidate should be educated to Higher Secondary level (10+2) with a vocational certificate in Plumbing trade from a recognized industrial training institute/polytechnic. The candidate shall have minimum 5 years experience in a process industry or with a contracting company associated with the petrochemical industry in the above mentioned fields.

CIVIL TECHNICIAN-STEEL STRUCTURE :
The candidate is responsible for carrying out Regular inspection and maintenance of steel structures in a highly corrosive atmosphere inside a fertilizer industry. The person shall be able to prepare maintenance planning/ program for all the critical steel structures and roof sheeting works in the plant. Planning of day to day works, manpower control and getting complete output from contracted manpower, managing the annual frame contract, preparation of estimate, are essential qualifications for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate shall have hands on experience in an Industrial atmosphere preferably in the maintenance department of a continuous process industry and shall be familiar with the Safety Standards, Work Permit systems etc. The person shall be computer literate and also be capable of preparing bill of quantities, estimates, work orders and providing technical support for material procurement in a computerized (ERP) environment. Candidate shall have basic understanding of corrosion protection.

The candidate must be able to review Structural drawings and execute the work as per drawings. The position is also responsible to maintain stocks of materials, tools and fasteners. The ideal candidate shall be a diploma certificate holder in civil or mechanical engineering or equivalent from a recognized industrial training institute/polytechnic. The candidate shall have minimum 6 years experience in a process industry or with a contracting company associated with the petrochemical industry in the above mentioned fields.

MECHANICAL DRAUGHTSMAN :
The position is responsible for update and produce engineering drawings and reports, as per the specific discipline efficiently according to the codes, standards, procedures, specifications and instructions from QAFCO Engineers. He will also be responsible to search for and retrieve electronic drawings from Qafco Technical Document Management System (QTDMS) as well from the Hard Copy drawing Archive.
He should produce and update CAD based or manual on paper, engineering drawings such as :
- General arrangements drawings, site layouts, vessel details and piping isometrics (Mechanical).

The ideal candidate should have Diploma in specific Engineering trade or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of project experience preferably in fertilizer/petrochemical plants in relevant drafting activities. The candidates should be fluent in writing/speaking English and well versed in using AutoCAD and electronic documentation procedures. Knowledge of MS office will be an advantage.

FIELD OPERATORS – UREA :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation of different units/areas of the Urea plants. The prospective candidate should possess Diploma level education, minimum 5 years experience in the process operation of Urea and DCS Operation. Candidates having experience in Petrochemical industries with extensive knowledge in DCS Operation will also be considered.

FIELD OPERATORS – AMMONIA/ UTILITY :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation of different units/areas of the Ammonia plants. The prospective candidate should possess Technical High School level education, minimum 5 years experience in the process operation of Ammonia and DCS Operation. Candidates having experience in Petrochemical industries with extensive knowledge in DCS Operation will also be considered.

MATERIAL HANDLING OPERATORS :
The ideal candidate should be in a position to handle / operate the Bagging Plant, Bulk Loading Equipment, De-Dusting plant, Conveyor Belt System, Jetty Facility in accordance with the operating procedures and safety standards to ensure effective and optimum operational status of equipment. He should also be capable of identifying equipment malfunctions and liaise with maintenance groups for troubleshooting and minimize breakdowns. Also take appropriate measurements to ensure product quantity and quality are in conformance as per the specifications. He should also be aware of the work permit system.

The selected candidate should have Technical High School level education (preferable Operation trade) and has at least 5 years of experience in a Material Handling function within a Fertiliser or related industry. He should have very good computer and communication skills (both written and spoken). He should have a detailed knowledge on how to export Ammonia or Urea.

POWER STATION OPERATOR :
The position is responsible for the operation of Power Station. The position holder should have minimum qualification of higher diploma in Electrical Engineering, preferably B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and possess at least 6 years experience in the start-up/shutdown and normal operations of power stations; installation, maintenance, testing and/or operation of gas turbine driven generators, transformers, pumps, motors, batteries, battery chargers, PLCs, 66kV indoor/outdoor substations, switch boards, oil/vaccum/SF6 gas insulated circuit breakers etc. Experience in operation of GE frame 6 gas turbines, Rolls Royce Avon gas generators, Speedtronic Mark V control system, Honeywell micro TDC 3000 operating system, etc will be an added advantage.

INSTRUMENT PROJECT ENGINEER :
The position reports to the Lead of the Instrument Project Group in the project section.The position is responsible to perform instrument project works such as initial studies, detailed design work (calculations, specifications, field and system design), create and follow up of purchase orders / contracts, follow-up of construction and commissioning activities and final documentation. The project types may range from minor field or system related to major multi discipline projects involving teams of more than 10 persons. The candidate shall have proven project experience in field instrumentation, Process Control and Safety Shutdown Systems, Rotating machinery instrumentation & controls, Process Gas Analysers , multi discipline project management skills including, project planning, scheduling, Cost estimation and controls.
The candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Instrument / Electronic / Control Engineering with minimum 7 years relevant experience from Fertiliser, Oil, Gas or Petrochemical industry. Some experience with Honeywell TDC-3000 or PLCs such as Triconex and Honeywell FSC is advantageous.

HVAC ENGINEER :
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC as a special subject and also have 7 to 10 years of experience in operation and maintenance in a large industrial environment preferably in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry. Should be computer literate and have strong command over English language.

LABORATORY ANALYST :
The ideal candidate shall possess a B.Sc. Chemistry / Diploma / Technical certificate in chemistry or analytical chemistry. He shall be computer literate, with minimum 5 years experience from Ammonia/Urea fertilizer plants, with knowledge of using instruments such as Spectrophotometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, and good experience in water analysis, urea analysis etc. The respective candidate should posses a good command in English and capable of driving a pick-up vehicle.

INSTRUMENT DRAUGHTSMAN (IN-TOOLS):
• Instrument Drawings available in various formats (AutoCAD, Excel, Raster Images) will be standardized into INTOOLS format with instrument data stored in Oracle Database. As part of the project, templates and symbol libraries will be prepared before migrating all existing varied formats into INTOOLS.
• Preparation and management of instrument Index compliant with P&ID review, using "InTools” and utilizing P&ID CADWORX if necessary for capturing index information.
• To design and review all instrumentation deliverables, documents and drawings involving, Data sheets for field instruments, JB assignment / cabinets interconnections wiring diagrams, Instrument Loop diagrams (ILD's), Instrument Hookup details, typical installation drawings, I/O list for DCS and PLC's etc available in different formats to consolidate into INTOOLS.
• Specifications and creation of Datasheets for various field instruments.
• Migration of sizing calculations for control valves and orifice plates into “INTOOLS“ software.
• Good Drafting knowledge of AutoCAD and other drafting packages for input to INTOOLS.
• SPR review, Construction related Instrument 2D layouts and BOM's.
• Equally effective working in self-management projects and as a team member.
• To implement Project Quality / Quality control as specified at the beginning of the project and ensure adherence to Quality control procedures relating to Instrument.
• All hard copy drawings available in Raster format to be migrated to Intelligent standardized format on INTOOLS.
• Work on different formats and standards as specified by the project team and ensure proper integration.
• Transfer of drawings in a format compatible to Document Management System and ability to work on Document Management Systems for storing of Drawings. QAFCO has Cimage Technical Document Management System (QTDMS) for storing of Drawings.
• Ability to integrate data in excel format into INTOOLS.

Qualifications and experience
•Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
•Minimum 5 years project experience, preferably in fertilizer/petrochemical plants with Smart Plant INTOOLS Experience.
•Experience working on Oracle database and Administration of INTOOLS (Smart Plant).
•Experience using Oracle SQL. 3D CAD Plant design will be added advantage.
•Computer literate well acquainted with office programs as MS Word, Excel etc and very well versed in using AutoCAD, Micro Station and electronic documentation procedures.
•Experience on Reporting applications including SMART PLANT INTOOLS.
•High awareness and knowledge on safety procedures in live plant.
•Experience on Document Management systems like Cimage.

PROJECT COSTING ENGINEER :
This position reports to the Leads the Project Services Group leader in the Projects Section. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience in industrial projects cost management in Chemical / Fertilisers / Petrochemical plants.
Experience in P3e Primavera planning Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is an advantage.
His key responsibilities include:
• Coordination of all aspects of developing cost estimate , cost monitoring and control reporting for projects in cooperation with project coordinators
• Develop and maintain procedure and tools on projects cost estimation and control.
• Assist Lead Engineer in establishing project planning schedules, follow-up progress reporting and annual project budget annual frame.
• Analyse cost trends, Analyse and review cost forecast, prepare monthly cost reports for individual projects as well as projects portfolio.
• When required, participate in contract commercial bids evaluations.
• Evaluate contractors cost control organisation, plans, performance and procedures when required.

PLANNING ENGINEER :
The position is responsible to perform the following:

• Develop plans for periodic, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimum production reliability.
• Develop and implement plans for planned major shutdowns and unforeseen shutdowns.
• Keep informed of new IT Developments.
• Keep the concerned informed of the activities and progress against plans to enable monitoring and co-ordination of overall maintenance activities.
• Be aware of technological developments in the area of responsibility.
• Comply with all relevant Qafco Management Systems.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Maintenance/Planning function within an oil/gas industry.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, modern planning programs and use of spreadsheets and word processing programs.
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Good knowledge of manpower allocation, assignment, and planning with the skill of optimizing the man-hour utilization.


JUNIOR NDT INSPECTOR :
The position is responsible to carry out NDT work, including planning, preparation of drawings and reporting.

The position holder should have a Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering and have special training in basic NDT techniques, holding official certificates in UT and RT, ASNT level II. He must have at least 5 years relevant experience from a large chemical plant, preferably Ammonia and Urea fertilizer plant and be capable of reading P & ID’s and isometric drawings.


ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
The ideal candidate should be in a position to handle the day to day accounting jobs independently. He is also required to prepare various accounting input documents (i.e., AP Vouchers, cash receipts, bank payments) through the financial system used by the company. He is also required to do the day to day accounting work like calculations, reconciliation, data entry, filing and other tasks assigned by the Accounting Supervisor. The selected candidate should have a Degree in Accounting/Finance or related with a minimum of 5 years in accounting with a multinational and joint venture company (preferably oil & gas, petrochemicals co.), should have very good command of English language both written and spoken, generally accepted accounting practices, experience in Accounting System (preferably JD Edwards/PeopleSoft) and MS office application.

COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT :
Principle Duties and Responsibilities.

To install, maintain, modify and repair telecommunication systems and equipment in Qafco’s locations or offices including the servicing of digital and analogue microwave and line transmission systems, but not limited to Microwave, SDH and PDH mux systems, Satellite, PABX, CCTV, audio/video systems, Office equipment i.e. FAX, Phones and Intercom.

Education/ Skills Required :
• Diploma in Engineering(Electronics/Telecommunications )
• 5 Years experience in the installation, modification and maintenance of telecommunication systems including microwave transmission and digital telecomm systems.
• The candidate must have Computer Skills and have good knowledge in English.
• Maintain records of equipment installed, maintained or repaired and parts used.
• Maintain technical manuals, specifications and schematic drawings which he uses to carry out his work

HI,It's an important thing to verify that the premises are capable of qualifying your business for a trade licence in Registered Agents in Qatar , so before signing any lease it is prudent to contact the Ministry and find out if the premises are zoned commercial and whether your proposed business can lawfully be conducted from that site.
