Job Description
|
· Installing and
upgrading server
· Monitoring
database performance, health and tuning accordingly
· Managing
database objects, security, backup, recovery, cloning and patches
· Managing data
transfer (import/export/upload)
· Managing
integrations with both oracle and non-oracle technologies
· Controlling
privileges and permissions to database users
· Interface for
technical support from vendor
· Writing
database procedures, functions and triggers etc.
· To prepare
required report
· To plan and
conduct the training sessions for application users
· To prepare
himself for backup support on all business functional area applications as
assigned
· To prepare the
user and technical manuals of applications
· To participate
as active team member in other development and implementation projects
· To perform
other duties as and when
assigned
